I submerged in the new experience, reminded myself a quote from an unknown author “What is good for the people, must be good for the company.” I had my opportunity joining HTV Documentary Crew to visit SQC Titanium Slag Manufacture, developed and managed by Saigon - Quy Nhon Mining Corporation (a member of Saigon Invest Group - SGI). SQC is the leading enterprise in exploiting and deep-processing titanium-based products, equipped with state-of-the-art technology. At first, I pictured a cold slag factory with excessive carbon emissions, steel heat furnaces that is everyone nightmare to the environment but to my surprise SQC Titanium Slag Manufacture is exactly the opposite. As it is highly regarded by international experts as the region’s most advanced Titanium Manufacture, meeting the stringent requirements of safety and environment protection. Factory without smoke chimney The fresh air, which SQC’s environment offered, is highly distinguished in quality. Smoke chimneys were replaced with path walks and flowers. It was the first factory without smoke that I knew of. SQC adopted a Closed Substance Cycle Waste Management system that stored waste disposal underground to be reuse. The system conserved resources and reduced adverse impacts on the environment. It aimed to increase and optimize the efficient use of materials, thus to increase the productivity of resources. “What is good for the people, must be good for the company.” A day working with SQC young and dynamic staff, witness their working ethics and various group activities left such a lasting impression on me. I had opportunity to participate in and to be a part of the group, eating with them, listening to their inspired and romantic stories. I was invited to touring their living facility, enjoyed a peaceful and recreational environment after work. I submerged in the new experience, reminded myself a quote from an unknown author “What is good for the people, must be good for the company.”It made me to believe in the leadership of SQC management board, and General Director Nguyen Tran Trieu Thanh. Perhaps for them, a desire to contribute more to the industrialization progress of Vietnam, to deliver a better living condition to people, and to bring Vietnam to the world map of Titanium mining is taken to hearts.
SQC Titaminum Manufacture's Path Walk
Looking at SQC Titanium "resort" in bright colors, sparkling under the sun, I left the place carrying with me new impression of beautiful plant, of SQC’s staff with knowledge and enthusiasm. SQC is like a vibrant flower blooming on a white sandy barren, to let its incense flying far away… Le Sen |
