Closing the second session of 2010, SQC shares continued to increase with the highest value on HNX. Just two weeks after the initial listing on December 17, 2009, SQC surged by nearly 100%. SQC was first introduced during the final days of 2009, when VN-Index was in its lag phase, fluctuating below 500 points. However, right in the first session, SQC spectacularly scored its goal. As of December 17, the market capitalization value of SQC was 8,100 billion VND, making SQC the second biggest stock on HNX only to ACB (28,308 billion), overtaking even VCG (6570 billion) and PVS (5230 billion), etc. Maintaining its momentum during the next rising sessions, SQC became the stock whose value ranked second on HNX at 153,000 VND per share. SQC shares closed the session on 05 Jan at 153,000 VND per share with 240,000 shares matched. Thus, only two weeks after listing, SQC has nearly doubled its price, greatly contributing to the flourish of HNX flourishes. Experts began to call SQC a doping dose for HNX. SQC drew a continuous line uphill the chart while VN-Index was celebrating the conquest of the 500-point level (closing the session at 517.05 points), almost reaching to the fluctuation of 4.5% (equivalently 22.28 points). The starting session of Hanoi stock exchange was equally impressive; HNX-Index surged 11.67 points (6.94%) to 179.84 points. This unambiguously explained why SQC created such a fever of buy-in orders during the last period. Le Sen |
