SQC has spent a large budget to invest in an environmental-friendly processing system at a cost of up to 30% of the total investment of the plant. The quality of machinery and equipment of the plant is entirely consistent with the natural conditions of Vietnam; the plant has a commitment not to pollute the environment.

In mining and processing, SQC always guarantees the principle to not damage or do harm to the surrounding environment, to restore the site and replant the trees after exploitation, to comply with the exploitation process approved by the authorized departments. The processing plant is situated in the deep-processing project area of Binh Dinh Province, far from residential areas but still treating its wastage in the best way so as to protect the environment. The production process does not let out solid waste.

In 2010, SQC plans to build the quality management system ISO 14001 to protect the environment.
